I don't measure it so I can't tell you real directions. I just bring about 4 inches of water to a boil (with a little salt in it). Then I dump in corn meal and whisk it (because it lumps). Turn the heat down and cover it. Cook for about 5 minutes. Then it is served like hot cereal. We put butter, sugar and milk in it. My grandkids LOVE corn meal mush. lol It is really, really cheap:)Duck eggs are better than chicken eggs. Chicken eggs do have a darker yellow yolk. Duck eggs are larger and denser. I don't know how to really describe them to you but duck eggs are my favorite.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I just use sort of oldish white bread; it seems to soak the egg/milk/cinnamonmixture in real well. Challah bread is the best to use, but I didn't have any ofthat. So, is the corn meal mush a product that you buy prepared, or do you somehowmake it from 'scratch'?Can you tell the difference, taste-wise between a chick and duck egg? Guest guest
Thanks for the link. Yes, my gramma, Effie Mae Weagar, was of German descent. She was born in PA but her parents were from NY. Their parents were from Germany. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
