Guest guest
Just curious for those that have "neuropathic pain" if your doctors told you that the neuropathic pain preceded the pelvic floor issues or vica -versa? Also, has anyone received any info from their docs as to what could have caused it??? CPlanning your summer road trip? Check out AOL Travel Guides. Guest guest
I was told in 2003 that I had pelvic floor muscle spasm which at that time I knew to not be true, but I feel that I do have some issues now part of that related to my endo. My nerve damage came before the issues I feel I have with my pelvic floor because of the endo. As for the cause of my nerve damage my gyn and I figured out that the damage came from the surgery to my labia minora. My Pain Management doctor added another piece which would make sense. That other piece was that of one of the instruments used during the surgery to help hold the other area: the retractors when the doctor I had at the time cut off the excess skin. Guest guest
Kristy, that is very interesting. Dr. Conway told me that my butt pain was caused by the retractors used during surgery, and would go away between three and four months. Here it is eight months and it is worse, rather than better. Somehow, once I get pain, in any area, I can never get rid of it. nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of Kristy Sokoloski Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2008 6:35 PM To: VulvarDisorders Subject: Re: follow up to last post I was told in 2003 that I had pelvic floor muscle spasm which at that time I knew to not be true, but I feel that I do have some issues now part of that related to my endo.
