Guest guest
My father had a feral cat that we named Doe. After my father died (we lived next door to each other) Doe came to my house and started coming inside by way of the cat door. He got tame enough to let me touch his back lightly. He was fine as long as he didn't look us in the eyes. If we made eye contact then Doe would freak out and run. SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Thats pretty neat that he trusted you enough to come inside, and actually sleep with you. Trusting little guy. My Aunt rescued 6 ferals, and one of hers is like that too. Most of them stay outside, but one little one wandered in one day and decided to stay. She too thought sleeping on a bed was nice. Smart kitties! :-) I am ready to have a couple, but haven't decided yet on what kind. Can't do ferals because I need them to already be box trained, and I need a breed that are easy. You never know with ferals which ones will be socialized or not. A few of my Aunts still won't get near her, just the outside food dish. Its been a year. Thanks for the picture. Enjoy your new baby! :-) Hugs and Love, Jackie May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you. Played tickle-tummy, just like Razzie does! Now, until yesterday, this kitten was feral! Guest guest
LOL....love the name. We have ferals in our neighborhood and the lady behind me feeds them, and they stay in her open shed. They come thru my yard across the fence, but won't let us get near them. Even if they see us thru the slider they run if we make a move towards them. At one time I had 7 in my yard of all kinds and sizes. It was nice, like I had company kind of! :-) Hugs and Love, Jackie May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you. Guest guest
We don't have any true feral cats now but we do have a handful of semi-wild barn cats. My 14 year old granddaughter has claimed them as "hers" and she takes care of them, feeds them and loves them:) SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
