Guest guest
Chelle, I always mix the two together - every night, sometimes I add emu oil too. I hope it works for you. It deadens the area a little for me, but it is no permanent cure, and lasts only a few hours, that is why I am having the injections. I have a very sore spot at the entrance to the vagina – one of the areas’s which they did yesterday. I didn’t find it too bad – better than what I expected, but then again I took my med cocktail right before hand – a pain pill and valium. nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of Chelle Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2008 4:36 PM To: VulvarDisorders Subject: Re: Missed Diagnosis for 16 YEARS....Localized Vestibulitis - Janet Janet, I've tried the 5% Lidocaine in the past...I could never get past 3-4 nights of it, because it always 'upped' the vulvar irritation in that area. So...I'm gonna try the compounded form to see if I can tolerate it. Libby and Marrise (her Nurse) encouraged me to mix Estrace with it to help keep down irritation too. I am all mixed up with emotions. Happy that I finally KNOW...so angry and sad that it has been missed for so many years. Oh the stories I could tell! I have had painful sex since my honeymoon night. I went through 13 yrs. of pure hell, until I begged my uro/gyn to allow me to try bio-identical hormones. Estrace cream has helped my skin so much! It has allowed me to have painfree sex for the last 3 yrs. I still cannot wear blue jeans though. That is my goal! To be completely painfree and be able to wear jeans again. Thanks for your kind words... Hugs, Chelle
