whiteish urine

Hi,

Lately I notice my son's urine is kind of " blurry " or not as clear as it used to

be, I always know when he doesn't get enough water because his urine is a bit

more yellow, but it normally has a good clear/yellow color, no strong smell, I'm

talking about the first urine in the morning.

In the past week almost everyday he's having this whitish color, no bad smell...

my doctor says its normal that depends on what he eats and to give him more

water, that he seems to be healthy (imagine that, he has autism, how more sick

my son needs to be), that if he continue with this, then take him back to the

clinic.

He did have this a couple of months ago, and then about 7 months ago but only

like 2 times. I comment it to the doctor , he had some urine test done, like

general stuff, but apparently everything was " OK " , I did take the first sample

and forgot it outside the fridge so, I took another one the following day, when

I went back to discard the first sample there was a lot f sediment at the bottom

of the container, I did mentioned it in here and I was told that it could be

oxalates being dumped, but I don't think I do anything for this.

Lately he is more expressive and talkative, but is less gentle with his baby

sister(2), and looks more " sharp " , is more active and a bit mischievous(which my

husband thinks is great, as a sign of development).

The only thing different I can think of is the colostrum from kirkmans that he

gets in the morning, just about a spoonful, but he's been taking this for a

month now. he is 5 yo and weighs about 43 lb.

PS Is it possible that an occasional pear is doing this? he is not sensitive

to pears, but just wondering, he is GFCF and no soy except from whatever is not

listed in the food and eats lots of veggies. I do keep a daily log, but still

can't find what is it that is making him have this (he doesn't complaint or

anything).

Some people see cloudy urine with dumping oxalate. It's like the oxalate crystalsmake the pee more opaque.Pears used to be thought to be low oxalate but now they were retested and they are variable. I am not sure that they

would cause the dump. Do you eat other oxalate-y foods?

The Dr. said is not an UTI, he has hemp milk and almond milk alternated, I also give him brazil nuts for natural selenium intake, about 5 times per week he gets tomato on his soups. Today he had a very clear urine, he is verbal and he is not complaining about any pain or anything at the time of urinating. If its an oxalate dumping, I guess it is good, as it means he is dumping whatever is not god for his little body.Does any of you think it could be a sensitivity to an specific food? Has it it happened to anyone, that maybe just once you pee like that and then it is gone because you didn't ate that food again?SashaTo: mb12valtrex Sent: Thursday, November 17, 2011 1:12:15 AMSubject: Re: whiteish urine

Certain supplements can cause the urine to be cloudy also.
