Guest guest
Ah, good! Enjoy! When I talked to my sister the other day she said she had considered that same shelf for her kitchen... Her idea was to use it under the kitchen cabinets, to get extra drawers, and also to get a shelf for her cutting boards. She didn't want the brackets though (she has a very small kitchen, and didn't want it to steal more space that necessary). I advised her to skip the brackets completely, and attach it to the cabinet with some long screws, through a couple of wooden pieces that would create the space needed for the cutting boards, but nothing more. And it would mean NO brackets under it. She would consider that. She also commented the offer in the catalogue of coffee and a sandwich for free in the IKEA restaurant, to celebrate the 60th anniversary. "Did you see that? Coffee and a sandwich, why on earth?" I said that I'd guess it's the most common order in the IKEA restaurant (I know it's my most common order there: Coffee for the caffein and a sandwich for a little raise of the blood sugar levels). Her comment. "Come on. It's a 60th anniversary we're talking about. I want cake!" Well, when she puts it that way...love/Reb ---original message---And now I sent away for the new Ikea catalog! :-D in WYPractical Blackwork Designs"You get a wonderful view from the point of no return..." http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com http://practicalblackwork.com
