Hi all:We are on day 8 of a tenex trial for my daughter. She has been very irritable and moody and crying alot since starting it. We already decreased to 1/4 tablet 2x a day and I think I will decrease to 1x a day. Has anyone had this experience? I am wondering if we should continue and for how long, or if this med is just not for her.Thanks for any feedback.

1/2 tab 2x's/day had my son very emotional.I decreased to 1/4 tab 2x's/day and he did super. Then I slowly increased after two months & he's tolerating it very well.ValenciaSent from my iPhone

Try 1/8th 2x's/day. That was our initial startingdose, of course with your doctors approval.Hth,ValenciaSent from my iPhone

My son is on 1/8 tab twice. Started it yesterday eve. He slept 1/2 day at school. Did u see the same?May I know how was it super? Did u see any side effects?

were seeing terrible irritability and sleepiness. Just decreased dose again.

Tenex is a blood pressure med that is used in our kids to help calm them down. It lasts about 6 hours in their system. We use it on an as-needed basis. We've seen none of the problems you described.
