Yes, the chickens and ducks eat the same food. The difference is the ducks eat waaay more than the chickens. They eat lay crumble and scratch regularly. They all love the kitchen scraps I bring out to them and they go wild for the weeds the grandkids pull and throw in to them. Favorite kitchen scraps are tomatoes and noodles of any kind. Might sound silly, but maybe you could postpics of your ducks. They sound adorable.I'm going to try and google search the varioustypes so I can see what they look like. Lay crumble is also known as laying mash, it is a special feed designed to encourage laying eggs. Scratch is cracked corn.

Well.... lay crumble (also known as 'mash') is a bagged food that comes from the animal feed store. It's kinda like dog food for laying chickens.
