Guest guest
I got an appointment with a Dr.at Stanford who specializes in vulvodynia/vulvar vestibulitis. Her name is Dr. Brodzinsky; someone awhile back had posted a message about her so I decided to see if she can help me. I live close to Stanford and my insurance is allowing me to be seen there. Unfortunately my appointment isn't until the end of July (I guess this means she's a good doctor and everyone wants to see her). None of the doctors I've see want to treat me simply because they don't know how to. So i will just wait till July and hope that SOMETHING can be done to help me. I am glad there are doctors who specialize in this!
Guest guest
Please look up Prendergast at www.pelvicpainrehab.com . You can probably get in with them in the meantime and you will likely be so impressed that you won't bother to go to Stanford although you should certainly have a dr that you like (easier said than done, I know). These are the top PTs in the field. They WILL know what is wrong with you and what to do. Also, if you want more info about PT and the girls at pelvic pain rehab, join the yahoo health group happypelvis. It was started by a girl who got well thanks to them and there are many others. Also look in the files section and read Screening for Neuromuscular Componants of Pelvic Pain by Prendergast and Jerome Weiss, also Rehabilitation of the Short Pelvic Floor by Rhonda Kotarinos. We need to get those articles in the files of this group. I live in Colorado and made the trip to San Fran to see and I am now well. love, Molly anyone been seen at stanford?
