Guest guest
We are making a few changes to the SCIA Medical Disease Registry so the parents that can't afford the lab tests for one reason or the other can still participate and help build the SCIA's medical disease registry. SCIA does think that the lab tests are very important to show the medical data that children with autism are medically ill, diagnose children medically and help doctors offer the right medical treatment. The information that parents have provided while completing their children's medical history in the SCIA StudyTracker is very shocking! The symptoms alone for most of the children in the study are clear signs of immunodeficiency, autoimmune disorders, immune disorders and chronic infections. If you show these numbers to any immunologist or infectious disease specialist and you don't say the word autism they will with no doubt that these population of subjects are medically ill. Please visit the SCIA Study Statistics Page . Many parents have told us that they want to help build the medical disease registry and this is their opportunity to help. All that parents have to do is to create a SCIA StudyTracker account for their children, complete their children's medical history and mail the HIPAA and Informed Consent Forms together with a copy of their child's official ASD diagnosis document. If they want to get the lab tests done, they can do it, but it is not required.SCIA Study Statistics Pagehttps://stopcallingitautism.org/sciastudytracker/sciastudystats.html64.9% developed autism after a rash, fever or an infection51.4% suffer from motor skills problems70.3% suffer from recurrent or chronic ear, yeast, viral or other infections70.3% suffer from constipation, diarrhea, loose stool, IBS, IBD or other bowel problems32.5% suffer from insomnia32.5% suffer from eczema81.8% suffer from food or environmental allergiesThanks, Founder and Director of Stop Calling It Autism!http://www.stopcallingitautism.orgSCIA's Yahoo Grouphttp://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/stopcallingitautism/
