Sharon, I just cannot completely relax until you get an internist or general practitioner with some sense, or (dare I pray for this?) a neurologist. IF this is OpticNeuritis, you could lose your eyesight. Any M.D. can prescribe Prednisone orally for you!Love,n, that annoying older sister whom you never knewyou had. . .until recently!To: MSersLife Sent: Mon, September 6, 2010 11:36:56 PMSubject: Re: eyeball pain.... Kate....Re: whatcha been doin?

Hi Sharon,...have you thought about it being either a slight case of ON, or when my eyes hurt like yours its a sinus thing coming on. TN is so intense and more jabbing and strong shooting electrical pains for me, not a bruise feeling. I've had TN in my jaw, teeth and radiating into my ear, and wrapped around to the lower part of my scull, and its definately lightening bolt pains.

I looked up ON pain and it sounds like maybe yours might be that especially if you think you are going into a flare in other areas. Something to explore. Maybe the fall was enough of a stress event to stir things up. I know for me the least bit thing will do that to me. Emotional stress seems to be the worse, but I've had a few falls that scared me to start something too.

Hope you feel better soon! {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}

Thanks Kate. TN, huh? It's not intense pain, or even medium pain. My eyeball feels bruised or something. But I didn't fall on my face at all when I fell this time. I wish I had a doctor;)love

I am stumped, n. I don't know what to do. Perhaps I should go see an ophthalmologist. I will call and get an appointment. As you know (because I've whined about it enough lately:), I don't have a doctor who will DO anything. And the only neurologist here on the mountain isn't allowed to see women, only men. I don't have very good luck with doctors I guess. Thanks so much for you concern. It means a lot to me.love SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. The slight

Yep. This neuro got in trouble for inappropriate behavior with a female patient. First he couldn't see any patients and now he can just see males.
