Guest guest
Hi, everyone. We all know that cotton panties are supposed to be the best for not encouraging the growth of yeast. How about microfiber? It is supposed to wick away moisture, so is it also good material?
Guest guest
I personally prefer microfiber to cotton. My hubby used to work in retail clothing and is shocked at the cotton recommendation. Cotton holds onto moisture and doesn't breathe well or dry quickly. Melinda
Guest guest
Interesting--that's kind of what I was thinking, but microfiber has nylon in it (I think), so I thought it might not be a good thing. I just want some undies that don't ride up or show under clothes, and microfiber is the best for that. :-) Nathalie > > I personally prefer microfiber to cotton. Guest guest
I think the Cotton Industry started that concept and other people jumped on the b bandwagon and made it a " given " . I like the microfiber myself. Ora On Sat, 12 Apr 2008 18:22:05 -0000, " spanishmiss430 " spanishmiss430@...> wrote: >I personally prefer microfiber to cotton. Guest guest
I agree about the cotton thing Melinda. (not being that good and more likely promoted by the cotton industry ) and I also remember an article years ago that explained why cotton wasn't that good for our underwear, can't remember now, but it impressed me at the time, probably just as you & your hubby said. Though I prefer NO panties at all whenever you can. Dee Re: Best panties for not encouraging yeast infections I personally prefer microfiber to cotton. Guest guest
Dee, I am a fan of no panties when possible. My boyfriend though gets the wrong idea when I am, as he says " letting it breathe " . He thinks it's an invitation :-) but like, totally the last thing on my mind. > > I agree about the cotton thing Melinda. Guest guest
I have to say, this is definitely another one of those times that just goes to show that what works for one of us doesn't work for all of us. I've tried microfiber and I can't wear it. It makes my whole crotch itch and burn like the dickens! And it makes me sweat even more than cotton does. ~~ ----- Original Message ----- I personally prefer microfiber to cotton. Guest guest
I use all cotton boy short style panties with no problems. Rhonda Kotarinos (PT) told me that wearing no panties is best..but that if I had to, to use boy shorts with no elastic in the legs, so they would not 'restrict' the connective tissue around the butt...*grin* Hugs, Chelle
