Guest guest
Kind of hard to tell. She didn't eat it all, but then, she rarely eat a whole sandwich. I would have tasted it if it hadn't been for that darned lactose. Even considered to let it cost me a few hours of having an "air factory" in my stomach. So long since I had messmör, and I made the mistake of licking a little off my finger. Mmmmm. On a side note: During breakfast we talked about visiting my father (and her grandfather, naturally), and I explained to her that "Grandpa wants to show us the new parts of the house he has been building. He had built a nice new bedroom and maybe something else, and he wants us to see it." Apparently the part about that Grandpa builds something nice stuck, because in the car over there she all of a sudden said, out of the blue: "I build nice things too. I can help" ; )love/Reb-- the logic of a child I was helping Pixie (my 2,5 year old niece) make sandwiches for breakfast. I let her decide the topping for the sandwich all by herself (or almost), resulting in the interesting combination turkey and messmör (the sandwich spread version, looks like this;http://www.menyse.com/productImages/pfi_14561_3.jpg of this; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brunost ). Although I stopped her when she wanted to add sandwich caviar to the mix... I can't blame her for wanting the messmör, it was my number one favorite when I was a kid too. And it would still be quite high on my list if it wasn't for the fact that I am lactose intolerant and it contains ridiculous amounts of precisely lactose. Anyway, when I was making a sandwich for myself she said: "You like messmör too." I said: "You know what, I really, really do like it, but I can't eat it". She nodded thoughtfully and gave the verdict: "You don't like it."I kind of see her point... It IS almost impossible to comprehend that someone could like messmör and not eat it. If you let anything at all stop you, you don't like it. Simple as that.... ; )love/Reb
