Guest guest
We've been battling an ongoing ear infection since the end of the summer and this thing is so persistent and just not letting up even with strong abx. It keeps coming back. What does it involve to put tubes in our kids' ears? Anything else I can be doing to help her poor little ears? Guest guest
Yes. Try a GOOD, reputable chiropractor. If it keeps coming back, there's probably a drainage issue. A good chiro should be able to adjust that.Poor kid. Ear infections suck.-Tammy To: m12valtrex <mb12valtrex > Sent: Friday, November 25, 2011 5:42 AM Subject: Chronic ear infections We've been battling an ongoing ear infection since the end of the summer and this thing is so persistent and just not letting up even with strong abx. Guest guest
olive oil infused with garlic cloves. very popular old time remedy to use as ear drops.safe for kids.. for myslef i have used a couple drops of grapeseed extract in teaspoon of oil for my own chronic ear infections...with good results. luckily grapeseed extract always worked for me..I have also used silver water diluted in my ear. also hot water bottle with castor oil poured on ear i would try that too..i am big castor oil fan. the warmth is so soothing on a painful ear.. i would get ear infections so bad i thought it would spread to my brain ...and i was able to cure it with these remedys.. if you keep using the antibiotics the ear injfections will keep returning beccause the body doesnt get a chance to rebuild the immune system. that is my view on it anyways... i would find a probiotic your kid handles ok...and give mass quantitys.. also the good oils helps with ear infections if your kid can tolerate the omega oils like flaxseed borage oil. and last of all if needed i would used a natural antibiotic that isnt as harsh on the system like the scripts are. channa To: m12valtrex <mb12valtrex > Sent: Friday, November 25, 2011 5:42 AMSubject: Chronic ear infections We've been battling an ongoing ear infection since the end of the summer and this thing is so persistent and just not letting up even with strong abx. Guest guest
This helped us here. Includes the IGG allergens.I get mild ear drainage from chips fried in sunflower oil, and my IGE allergy is sesame... related to sunflower. If I were to eat these chips daily, I would have chronic post nasal drip and ear drainage and eventually an ear infection. So I just eat them once a week.Have you done the IGG food panel? Remove allergens or potential allergens. Pamela
Guest guest
Hi, When my daughter was one she started getting repeat ear infections. We treated it twice with antibs and then stopped milk (IGG sensitive) and eventually gluten. I spoke with a friend whose father was an ENT and he told her that most peds dont properly diagnose ear infections that need antibs -- apparently many dont. So on the next one, we saw a reputable ENT who checked the fluid and then let us see if she could kick it herself. after a few weeks and a return visit, she had kicked it and hasnt had another one in the past year. Hope this helps and good luck! To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex > Sent: Friday, November 25, 2011 7:51 AM Subject: Re: Chronic ear infections Yes. Try a GOOD, reputable chiropractor. Guest guest
Yeah, we did an igg. It basically told me the sky's blue. Gluten, soy. But that was 2 years ago. Maybe I should run another one but I hesitate to just because the last one we ran pulled one of those " the sky's blue " thing -- didn't tell me anything that I didn't know and they're not that cheap. The ear infections seem to come at the same time of year though. I'm thinking it's more environmental -- that pollen in the summer or fall triggered it and then it turned into an ear infection. (I'm allergic to ragweed and goldenrod). I seem to recall that this happened last year, too. I don't think it's food, though. This started while we were still on a pretty strict diet. This helped us here. Guest guest
Now that you guys mentioned a chiropractor, I remember last year we saw an osteopath and in two visits, we cleared the fluid. I forgot about that. I'm going to give that a go. Yeah, we did an igg. It basically told me the sky's blue. Gluten, soy. But that was 2 years ago. Guest guest
homeopathy has worked for us too with a classically trained homeopath. Matching the remedy to the person using classical reportoirizimg done by a trained homeopath with years of experience. Also in many chronic cases it took months to years to fully resolve the problem while acute illnesses took weeks. chiropractic works well in combo with homeopathy. > > Pulstilla homeopathic remedy has had good results here > Let your email find you with BlackBerry® from Vodafone > > Chronic ear infections > > > We've been battling an ongoing ear infection since the end of the summer and > this thing is so persistent and just not letting up even with strong abx. > It keeps coming back. > > What does it involve to put tubes in our kids' ears? > > Anything else I can be doing to help her poor little ears? >
Guest guest
My son has cleared all IgG allergies, is gluten, casein and soy free and sees a Chiro once a month for adjustments and to clear food allergies. We started Hyperbarics last month and saw great gains for two weeks until the ear filled completely. Sixth set of tubes put in on Monday and started back to Hyperbarics in Tuesday. He had six ear infections requiring 8 rounds of antibiotics before his first tubes right before his first birthday. He'll be 12 next month and not sure when he will he will outgrow needing tubes. ENT codes it eustachian tube defect. Who knows? Sent from my iPhone
