Guest guest
Ah yes... the dreaded PAPER CLIP! I felt the same way about it when I had that version of Office.I don't use Outlook myself. I prefer not to because of some security concerns I had become aware of years ago. love SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws or defects. And those Wizards are on top of my list of reasons... Especially the Word Wizard (that blasted paper clip)...But... Just a thought....Do you really have to integrate Internet and Mail with the Office package? Whatwould be the reason for that? (I know, I know Microsoft, incidentally abbreviated MS, doesn't NEEDreasons, it just does whatever it likes anyway...). Won't the Office software work without it? Or is it that you'd like it integrated? And another thought (possibly even less useful...): Have you tried Open Office ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenOffice.org) ? I can't vouch for the spreadsheet function (the Excel equivalent), but the word processing part is great, and opens all word processing files I've ever comeacross (I use it mostly to be able to open files from MS Word and the likes, my own writing I dopredominantly in iWork, on my Mac, but I would be confident to switch iWork for Open Officeshould I have to, it works just fine). Since it's free it might be worth checking out. love/Reb----original message----Thanks n but I don't think I explained it right. You know when you pressthe Start button the two top options are 'Internet' and in my case InternetExplorer under it. The second is 'E-mail' and now under it I have MicrosoftOffice Outlook. When I click on it, a Wizard comes up and I'm to configure myemail accounts through Office 2007. I'm just afraid that I'll lose my oldemails .... hugs, Cait>> If you can find Outlook Express on your computer, you should be able to> enter your own personal data and start it up.
