Guest guest
I need some help. I have been to so many drs that i cant stand it anymore. First one said I had STD, antibiotics, Havent had sex in 10 years. Urine infection, antibiotics again. Tests from hopital show nothing, test in drs. office show positive. Red, burning, itching skin, Dermtologists says lichen planus and on second visit says excema. Everything goes away as long as I am on antibiotics but 3 days later back again. My skin is raw, itching 24 hours a day. Very stressfull. Is there any other tests that can be done to fins out what this is. Thank you. I am 57 and also look after hubby who has had a stroke 3 years ago.
Guest guest
it sounds like the situation many of us has dealt with. I would get on the anti yeast diet that's been recommended in this group. It has been a life saver for me. frankandmajor wrote: I need some help. I have been to so many drs that i cant stand it anymore. First one said I had STD, antibiotics, Havent had sex in 10 years. First one said I had STD, antibiotics, did they test you for STD before giving you antibiotics? Urine infection, antibiotics again. Guest guest
We can give you our understanding and support. Stress is a terrible situation that compounds like a merry go round. As far as the burning and itching, try the no chemicals approach to your self care. Use white undies and wash them by themselves and rinse them well. No bubble baths etc. Try soaking in epsom salts in the tub for relief. Some of us use a rubber ring for sitting and some of us use a bag of frozen peas on the area. Good luck in finding a helpful female doctor who can relate to your pain and find a way to your relief. ml
