Every few years, I buy a Pocket PDR. They cost about $8 on Amazon or at a local book store. They take out most of the medical jargon, so you can actually understand what you read. ;) They list many common and not so common side effects of meds, food & drug interactions, important facts, and why it should be prescribed, dosage for children and adults based on weight, and it shows pics of many meds, and much more. It's the next best thing to a PDR, but waaaay cheaper! It's about the size of your hand, but really thick as it contains about 1700 pages. Meds are listed in alphabetical order, easy to use. I sound like a commercial....ha ha -- Hugs, Chelle http://www.amazon.com/PDR-Pocket-Guide-Prescription-Drugs/dp/1416552464/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1208199538 & sr=8-1
