Guest guest
I have gone to three different doctors lately – no more paper scripts. They were sent electronically directly to my pharmacy. Also the last one was a compounded prescription and the doctor sent it to a compounding pharmacy that they (the doctor) use and I received it packed in cold packs (it was suppositories’) two days later. Fantastic service!!! The only time I have a paper script is when it is for narcotics, and then there is always one day delay (or more), because my pain management doctor is in a different state and they have to call their office to verify the prescription. nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of taurusrc@... My doctor can send a fax to the pharmacy for that purpose. But sometimes they wait until evening and then send all their faxes at once causing a delay. Once I needed a prescription and could not go to the office to pick up my prescription because I was sick. The pharmacy claimed they did not get the faxed script until 6PM. Same problem with refills. Technology is great but it can cause delays.
