Guest guest
I have a friend that was taking the Imipramine and she developed heart problems. The symptoms started out slow, but then she had all the heart tests done and it became quite serious and she had to stop taking the drug. She takes Cymbalta now. nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of slatrat58 Sent: Tuesday, April 15, 2008 3:18 PM To: VulvarDisorders Subject: Topical Tri-cyclic creams? All, My vulvodynia and vestibulodynia are both well controlled by Imipramine. My daily dosage is 35 mg. However, I've got a real issue with Imipramine - it has increased my resting heart rate to ~85 bpm. It also jacks my heart rate way up when I engage in aerobic activities. This is not a good thing and severally limits what I can do - stairs can be a real challenge. I was curious - has anyone had success with topical tricyclics? Thanks, Steph
