Hi everyone,

My son is on anti yeast treatment and now for the last 5 days he is getting

uncontrollable crying spells with screaming, jumping up and down, asking me to

rock him and kiss him again and again. When asked what happened, he says " it

hurts " and points to his belly. Sometimes points to both sides of his chest. He

has developed a tendency towards constipation but does go at least once a day

with the help of magnesium. He is urinating a lot and is always thirsty. Each

episode of crying lasts for at least 15 minutes and advil seems to help in

minutes. His breath is fruity and his stool smells fruity or sugary or maybe

acetone like. Sometimes the smell is just awful and it is hard to describe. He

is having a lot of visual stims and he is always trying to make everything a

bicycle and wants to ride something or climb something. His skin especially on

the chest is very sensitive and tries to pull his shirt away from skin

sometimes. His symptoms were mild in the last couple of months but have now

worsened. His episode at school was so bad that I had to take him to the

pediatrician which was useless as we all know how that usually goes. I was

wondering if it is clostridia? Recently I had posted on the forum when he had

just anxiety and crying and Channa suggested that it was clostridia and told me

to go up on culturelle which helped. But now his symptoms are uncontrollable. Is

it clostridia or it could be severe fungal die off or even viral die off as he

is also receiving some treatment that would help eradicate viruses? I was

thinking that abdominal discomfort, increased sensitivity to pain, anxiety, ocd

and tantrums are related to anaerobic overgrowth from what I have read so far

and what our dan explained. And also when we treat yeast, clostridia can go

crazy. But I wanted to ask the experienced moms what they think of my son's

symptoms.

Thanks

is i cant say for sure but first thing that pops into my head is acidosis..the friuty breath and fruity stool...horrible tummy pain...I talked about my bakin soda/benedryl combo that worked so well for my son...it soothes tummy pain and inflammation..i would think you should try it for your son.

i think the antifungals are hard on a poor little boys body...my first guess would be it is the antifungals themselves that are reacting with him. can your son handle grapeseed extract? or pau d arco? if it is just die off it shouldnt last more then two weeks. that is my experience for die off

How much baking soda do you use in the bath Channa? I remember when we were

doing homeotoxicology, we used to give lemon juice. Would that help? I have used

GSE and Paud'arco but he didn't do well on those.

i dont think lemon juice would help severe pain.

baking soda is not for the bath but you put one teaspoon in about 1/3 cup of water (non aluminum bakin soda) then have him drink it..tell him it will help his tummy....because it will.. then I give dye free benedryl..on an empty stomach together..it should calm him right down.

that sucks about the GSE and pau d arco...how about oil of oregano on the soles of his feetat night when he goes to bed? or myrhh essentail oil on the bottom of his feet? does he have phenol sensitivitie?

my kid couldnt tolerate anything in the beginning either..

He does have phenol sensitivities. His symptoms have developed gradually though.

He was tolerating nystatin with minimal die off and some gains. But this

behavior/pain is different. It flared this week and started as some

anxiety/aggression and not sharing toys with his sister and now he is getting

recurrent episodes of crying and tantrums. Could this be clostridia going crazy

after yeast treatment or is it yeast die off?

it could be bacteria increasing from yeast die off..did you try goldseal? it is a great natural antibacterial..if it is bacteria related you should see some gains with goldenseal...if it is yeast die off I would say symptoms should get better after about two weeks...in my experience...the bakin soda will help with the die off as well.. as this is all toxins bein loaded into his system..the bakin soda seems to help flush it out some how.

are you givin him a lot of meat? this I had to back down from when my son was in his bacteria prime.

also when i was battling bacteria/yeast...he seemed to do better on mostly cooked veggies with small amount meat and carbs...but that is what helped in my case.

meat feeds bacteria...carbs feed yeast...it aint easy

did you try the adrenal tonic? in the RFA group they promote something called ACE made from cow adrenal...i never tried it but many people have sussess with it and maybe you could look into that for another adrenal support.

Hi alexis,We've had alot of issues with clostridia with my two. Except for the tummy hurting, those aren't the signs we have. Usually, clostridia is characterised by negative behaviors. We have biting, aggression, defiance and dark, very loose stool (and tummy pain) when it is flaring. The things that can work on clostridia are s. Boullardi, vsl3, flagyl and vancomycin. I think culturelle works more on yeast? Have you tried giving charcoal to see if the symptoms improve...if they do then it could just still be die off or ammonia...if the symptoms lasts more theb a week or ten days I start thinking it is something other then die off. What protocol are you using? -- Sent from my Palm Pre

alexis I was lookin thru my notes and came across something that you may or may not find helpful..

for fungal support: l-carnitine,niacin,inositol ,hexanicotinate and biotin

I have heard good things about biotin for yeast control...the others I have not heard so much althou i give niacon to my son i find it calms him down and does some kind of detox ...

the others i have not tried so you coulds look into each of them carefully and get as much info first.

I am a die hard natural believer...so im always looking for other alternatives to scripts...is the nyastatin you give your son dye free and sugar free ?

Interesting on the meat feeding bacteria, thank you channa! Do you know if goldenseal is phenolic? We've had many issues with herbs, coconut this year but would love to find alternatives to the antibs (although clostridia is a tough one and so far only heard that lomatium and s, boullardi, vsl are the only "natural" clostridia fighters) -- Sent from my Palm Pre

I dont believe goldenseal is phenolic as i heard a lot of phenol kids taking it with no issues..but i could be wrong.

culturelle specifically targets clostridia..so that is another good natural....of course you got to go slow with all of them as some kids can react to anything...but when my son was really sick he couldnt tolerate any probiotics except culturelle not saying all kids will have same reaction...but usually the single bacteria probiotics are easiest in beginning...

I am also in middle of a bacteira battle with my son...and in my aresenal i have:

goldenseal..

..a chinese herbal called the snake of dragon tea pills

MMS which is still contreversal even in my book

culturelle

and silver water which I dont like to use unless nothing else will help because of the metal issues with our kids

I was doin oil of oregano but he didnt test well on it ( I use a pendulum)

so I am also on the hunt for all and any natural bacteria fighters...he was doin good on the kefir water but I havent had time to make them and so that is something else i will try and go back too..

oh also I would love to get some virastop on an empty stomach...stuff is expensive but it helps a lot with bacteria!!

Interesting on the meat feeding bacteria, thank you channa! Do you know if goldenseal is phenolic? We've had many issues with herbs, coconut this year but would love to find alternatives to the antibs (although clostridia is a tough one and so far only heard that lomatium and s, boullardi, vsl are the only "natural" clostridia fighters)

it could be bacteria increasing from yeast die off..did you try goldseal? it is a great natural antibacterial..if it is bacteria related you should see some gains with goldenseal...if it is yeast die off I would say symptoms should get better after about two weeks...in my experience...the bakin soda will help with the die off as well.. as this is all toxins bein loaded into his system..the bakin soda seems to help flush it out some how.

are you givin him a lot of meat? this I had to back down from when my son was in his bacteria prime.

also when i was battling bacteria/yeast...he seemed to do better on mostly cooked veggies with small amount meat and carbs...but that is what helped in my case.

meat feeds bacteria...carbs feed yeast...it aint easy

did you try the adrenal tonic? in the RFA group they promote something called ACE made from cow adrenal...i never tried it but many people have sussess with it and maybe you could look into that for another adrenal support.

poor kid.

He does have phenol sensitivities. His symptoms have developed gradually though. He was tolerating nystatin with minimal die off and some gains. But this behavior/pain is different. thanks for the tip on lomatium....will definitly be lookin into that as all i do is naturals..

my son couldnt do coconut stuff either ..I thought biocidin was mainly for yeast? for a while i was giving antifungals and antibacterials back to back...if you kill of too much yeast you get rise in bacteria..

with the bakin soda i didnt try to make it taste good...i guess i was worried it would comprimise the alkanizing action...to bad we dont have a chemist in the group?

i just told him it would make him feel better and would give a small tiny sublingal b12 as sort of treat afterwards...it was small enuff that i didnt think it would affect the bakin soda.

and then givin it with the benedryl was the magic combo.

as far as ACE you should post on RFA about that they are the experts in ACE....i only used the adapten herbs for adrenals

it could be bacteria increasing from yeast die off..did you try goldseal? it is a great natural antibacterial..if it is bacteria related you should see some gains with goldenseal...if it is yeast die off I would say symptoms should get better after about two weeks...in my experience...the bakin soda will help with the die off as well.. as this is all toxins bein loaded into his system..the bakin soda seems to help flush it out some how.

are you givin him a lot of meat? this I had to back down from when my son was in his bacteria prime.

also when i was battling bacteria/yeast...he seemed to do better on mostly cooked veggies with small amount meat and carbs...but that is what helped in my case.

meat feeds bacteria...carbs feed yeast...it aint easy

did you try the adrenal tonic? in the RFA group they promote something called ACE made from cow adrenal...i never tried it but many people have sussess with it and maybe you could look into that for another adrenal support.

oh yah...I absolutely loved her book! It was a huge turning point for me in realizing I needed to have faith in God before my son could ever heal. and I love the fact that she puts the parent in control...im so tired of docters/practitioners taking control from the parent and putting themselves in a position of total authority! bullcrap...who knows your kid more then you? we are all experts in our own kids...and I love that she basically says we need to trust that within ourselves..

I have organized/written down/made bullet points of anything and everything in

Tenna Merchent's book. I feel both her book and website are extremely useful.

Unfortunately, it seemed disorganized to me, which probably would make a lot of

people miss some really important points she makes. So, I went through it all

and organized it for myself. It is time to believe in myself and actually put it

to use. I joined Pure Herbs, following her recommendations, which I also

recommend for everyone. For $35, you get two thick invaluable herb guides and

you get the member rate on herbs. The company can't give you advice, but your

upline people can. I established yes, no on the pendulum. I made fan charts of

all of my daughter's issues. Surprisingly, I came up with almost 30 issues. I

need to go slow, ask for healing codes, try release codes, test herbs, ask if

imprinting an herb is enough as opposed to taking it, how much to take for how

long, etc. I need to take baby steps. Almost a year ago, I wrote to Tenna asking

for contact information for master herbalists. She was kind enough to call me

back and give the information. Even though I was able to leave messages with

those master herbalists, though, they did not get back to me. I guess I need to

take to heart Tenna Merchent's words and trust myself in healing my child. I

just recently went to her website again. There was some long legal document to

sign before you went further. It might be because I saw that somebody wrote a

bad review of the healing methods she proposes. They should try the methods for

themselves before they criticize them. Anyway, when you mentioned Tenna

Merchent, I wanted to let everyone know I am embarking on putting her book to

use.

Anyway, when you mentioned Tenna Merchent, I wanted to let everyone know I am embarking on putting her book to use. >> Hi channa you mentioned a pendulum i would love to confidence to use it. Have you read tenna merchents book . The website is joyous messanger she is into herbs releasing and imprinting. Totally fascinating will look at her website, and rSee her book at library b4 I buy it.Good luck Mel, pls feedback how u r getting on!! As 80% of the human immune system is in the gut, it's a shame we do not get taught this kind of thing at schools.Sent from my iPhoneOn 2 Dec 2011, at 23:20, "Mel" wroI have organized/written down/made bullet points of anything and everything in Tenna Merchent's book. I feel both her book and website are extremely useful. Unfortunately, it seemed disorganized to me, which probably would make a lot of people miss some really important points she makes. So, I went through it all and organized it for myself. It is time to believe in myself and actually put it to use. I joined Pure Herbs, following her recommendations, which I also recommend for everyone. For $35, you get two thick invaluable herb guides and you get the member rate on herbs. The company can't give you advice, but your upline people can. I established yes, no on the pendulum. I made fan charts of all of my daughter's issues. Surprisingly, I came up with almost 30 issues. I need to go slow, ask for healing codes, try release codes, test herbs, ask if imprinting an herb is enough as opposed to taking it, how much to take for how long, etc. I need to take baby steps. Almost a year ago, I wrote to Tenna asking for contact information for master herbalists. She was kind enough to call me back and give the information. Even though I was able to leave messages with those master herbalists, though, they did not get back to me. I guess I need to take to heart Tenna Merchent's words and trust myself in healing my child. I just recently went to her website again.
