Guest guest
, I wanted to tell you what I learned at my last visit with Rhonda. I was still having issues with my 6 o'clock perineal tissue. She did skin rolling on it b/c it hurt just touching it. My hubby does the skin rolling on it now and has found that it is SO much better after just 3 times. He's having a hard time finding skin to grab. It is very painful (as all skin rolling is), but it doesn't last as long since there is so little of an area to cover. My hyminal (sp?) ring is rough and causing tension too so he has to skin roll that. Rhonda also said to have some sex w/o much lube to create the skin rolling with his penis. My perineal tissue also does not relax as much as my pelvic floor causing another issue to intercourse. The Estrace didn't seem to do as much for me as the skin rolling is already doing. I would suggest doing both (at least test that skin). I remember that you had wrote me with this issue before, so I hope that this bit of knowledge can help. Enjoy Cali for me! in IL > > ?? Chelle, > > I spoke to Pete a few hours ago and he stated he could call my OBGYN's office and speak to my doctor and get her to change the script over the phone....he's already been more?willing to help me?than any of my doctor's offices or local pharmacies, go figure!?I decided?to also fax him my script for Lidocaine.?I've never used Lidocaine, I'm going to try it to numb the 6 0' clock area when I have intercourse. What is that area/skin called that?becomes inflammed and burns??How much Lidocaine?should I use??Pete told me that he had the emu oil and he believes they get it from laidinmt.com, which is awesome because thats where I purchase mine and I LOVE it!!! Have a lovely day gals.
Guest guest
I appreciate that info , how are you doing today? The hymen skin for me is the main problem I have as far as external pain. The penis rubs back and forth causing friction, inflammation and burning. Thats why I've decided to try Estradiol w/emu oil and apply it to that area daily. My boyfriend and I use condoms and it helps since there's not skin on skin contact. Have you tried that? By the way Cali weather is beautiful right now, I leave for a cruise to Mexico on May 5th, so stoked! ~~ Re: Responses to my Estrace Questions - (Now 6 O'clock area) - , I wanted to tell you what I learned at my last visit with Rhonda. Guest guest
Hey , I'm glad to pass on anything that can help. I am doing great today. Hubby and I tried out skin rolling and then sex once there was no more pain with the skin rolling and he had streched me out, and it was great! No pain and no drugs masking the pain! In fact, I am not even burning/hurting at the perineum like I usually did. We've only done it 4-5 times. No, we haven't tried the condoms. It always took my husband too long for my pain tolerance if he wore one, so we bit the bullet and did pull out method. Even though we didn't have a lot of sex, it is still amazing that we didn't get pregnant for 6+ years that way until we wanted to. I would highly suggest the skin rolling b/c my hymen was so tight and he managed to smooth it out. I took the E for 2 months and so very little change. The skin rolling did it the first time. I know that I am going to have to continue doing it for awhile to change it for good, but for now, I am very encouraged. Please let me know if this helps you too. Enjoy Mexico for me. Last time I was there, I came home to find out I was 1 month prego! I conceived 5 days before we left. If your cruise takes you to Puerto Vallarta, do the canopy tour if you have time....it's AMAZING! You and flying through the trees on a cable. Awesome, awesome, awesome! Also, go to Pipi's for dinner. You have to get directions...it's off the beaten path in Old PV. Take care, > > I appreciate that info , how are you doing today? Guest guest
Hi and - What was your diagnosis? What exactly is skin rolling? I'm going to a new PT on Thursday of this week, hopefully to get a more detailed diagnosis. I was diagnosed with vaginismus and levator ani spasm. I think that my hymen is tight, just like you describe. The new PT is in Richmond VA and works at a women's health center. I had gone to a PT in Arlington and she did biofeedback. When I asked her what skin rolling was she had never heard of it. I know many of you will tell me to subscribe to the Happy Pelvis site (one of you automatically subscribed me once, don't know who you were!) but I really don't have time to keep up with two listservs and I also think my problem is hormonally related since it goes away right after I ovulate (and then comes back). shannon > > > > I appreciate that info , how are you doing today? Guest guest
, My diagnosis is Vulvar Vestibulitis Syndrome, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema). Is that your main area of pain that being your hymen? If I could just get to the point where the hymen doesn't hurt on contact, then I could focus on my pelvic floor muscles. I picked up my script of Lidocaine last night and I plan on using it tonight for the first time. I hope it makes intercourse much less painful and tolerable because I know my boyfriend is highly frustrated with the lack of sex. I feel guilty at times, that I'm not able to satisfy him like any other woman could. Does anybody feel this way? ** Re: Responses to my Estrace Questions - (Now 6 O'clock area) - Hi and - What was your diagnosis? What exactly is skin rolling? Guest guest
, I completely understand about how you feel about feeling guilty for not being able to freely have sex with your boyfriend - I feel the same way. But when I read your post, I was like - that's ridiculous!!! Would your boyfriend feel bad for not being able to have sex with you if the head of his penis was red, itching, burning and inflammed? No way - you would feel bad for him. This whole thing sucks. I have found Valium has helped my pelvic floor muscles a lot -- and not just when i take it whichis every other day or so, but overall. Good luck, Emma > > > > > > I appreciate that info , how are you doing today? The > hymen > > skin for me is the main problem I have as far as external pain. Guest guest
, I do feel badly at times that my husband doesn't get as much sex as other men - but honestly, as some point we have to get over it, because it is what it is, and we are doing the best we can! He knows how hard I try. I often think of men in the military, who aren't getting any for quite long deployments and seem to survive. I think it's just important to be intimate in other ways or even just cuddle so he remembers you like being with him. =) Melinda
Guest guest
Hi , My initial diagnosis was VV contact only. Rhonda K. (my PT) told me that I had some nerve issues causing it and then she told me what was up with my hymen/perineal tissues, but I don't remember the details...just how to try to fix it. I saw that Chelle sent you some great info about skin rolling. It's kinda tough to get the hang of it, but once you do, you've got it. With the skin rolling, my hubby does it in all of the hymen and perineal tissues. He then uses his fingers to resist and stretch me as I do a kegal. I only do a max of 5 of these and this is strictly to promote stretching since I am too tight. You shouldn't do kegals by themselves as they will tighten you up worse. Definitely find a PT that does skin rolling as that combined with no underware has taken away all of my pain from VV. I just have to keep doing it until it is gone forever. I wish you well with your new PT. in IL
Guest guest
Hey , I know that I've gone through those feelings plenty. I've been married almost 8 years and we've had to deal with this from day one. Imagine being afraid of your new husband being near you b/c he wants sex all of the time. Even though I'm getting better, I have the mental component to deal with now. For a long time I constantly felt bad that we only had sex about once a month, actually I still do. It is just something to work through and realize that we are so much more than just sexual beings with one another.
