Guest guest
I called New Beginnings Nutritionals to ask them about a calcium supplement I bought from them recently because I was afraid that my son was getting lead poisoning from his calcium fortified OJ. Because my son is on a GFCF diet he needs to get calcium from a supplement rather than a whole food form. When I inquired about the purity of the calcium supplement recently purchased from New Beginnings, the Director of the business sent me this email: Hi , I heard you called earlier today and I want to assure you that we are very careful about our products and let me assure you that quality and purity of our supplements. Calcium can be contaminated with lead and the two most contaminated forms of calcium is calcium carbonate (the kind in Orange Juice) and coral calcium. I personally look at the heavy metal testing done on all our products and I am expecting another one soon on the liquid calcium product. I would be happy to send it to you as soon as I receive it. It is good that you are concerned and asking these questions and we take each request seriously. I am a mother of a child who has recovered from autism and I have asked the same questions you have. Please do not hesitate to email me back any questions you may have in the meanwhile. Have a good weekend.
