Guest guest
I am considering the ON to be part of this flare. I have been trying today to get myself out of this emotional funk. So I won't dwell on the idea of "flare" right now:)For my genealogy I have most of my stuff on Geni.com Geni is free. Well they do have a pay option for what they call Geni Pro. I tried it but I didn't like it so I stick with the free stuff. On Geni you can have your family tree as well photos, etc. It's a cool deal. I've been using Geni for 4 or 5 years now. My community college offers a course on genealogy too but I can't commit to going there. I wonder if they have an online course? I think I will check it out. I do also keep paper records of the genealogy along with prints of census records, birth/death certificates, etc. I'm not looking forward to being cold this winter either. I don't like being hot but I don't like being cold--can't be happy I guess. So far it's nice weather here with a few chilly mornings.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. But I think I would consider the bout of ON right now as to be part of the flare you're having.. I know that sometimes it's hard to tell when one flare stops and another one starts.. But I guess we're much the same.. you fretting about the flare and not being able to deny the MonSter any longer.. and me trying to figure out just what in the heck I did with the past 51 years.. but then again.. if we didn't have something to fret over.... would we be truly happy? Somehow, I don't think so.. As for geneaology.. I need to put whatever tree I'm working on.. (or all of them for that matter).. on the flash drive.. so I can update from either computer.. What program do you use to keep track?.. or do you do all of your stuff by hand.. I'm still trying to figure out how to completely use the program that I do use, Legacy, so that I can truly document my finds. Local Community College is offering an online course in Geneaology.. maybe I should sign up.. I sure hope you feel better soon HUGS |)onna update time (Sharon) I am still feeling sorry for myself;). I am in my second flare in 5 months. Now I have been dxed with ON. I guess I can't pretend MS isn't real, can I? lol Beyond that stuff....life does go on. I am still going out to feed and water the chickens/ducks but I only go once a day instead of twice now--in the mornings when I am 'fresher'. My 14 year old granddaughter goes with me and does almost everything. Most of the birds belong to the family but I do have a few of my own. is my fawn and white runner duck and he like to eat scratch from my hand. I got from Freecycle 3 years ago along with his three 'girls' (chickens). Two of his 'girls' died of old age but Margaret is still around. Margaret always eats from my hand. I also have a khaki campbell duck. I haven't been doing much else except keeping the dishes done. Fun, huh? I take care of the grandkids when mom and dad are gone. I read, work on genealogy and play around on the computer here and there. I don't cook much because my son does nearly all the cooking. hugs to each of you SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
