Guest guest
Guess I didn't fix my computer well enough because it crashed again . To be honest, it took me quite a while to even attempt to fix it again. Hopefully it's stable now *touch wood* but my 'someday' dream is to buy myself a good laptop so I can play games anywhere. I've been under the weather ... I know, what else is new . I've been so darn tired that if I do much of any housecleaning, I rarely get out of bed the next day. Now that's bad! My eyes have been feeling like knives are poking into the sockets and my vision has been kind of bad. I really think it's a mild case of ON (geez Sharon, are you my sister?) but I'm not going to get all upset about a doctor's visit because I know that he can't do anything anyway. Don't know why but they don't rx steroids, just 'take it easy and let it run it's course'. My walking/balance is getting worse and I've finally reached the point where I know it's time to sell the house and move into an apt. Just doing laundry means going down 2 flights of stairs two times and just that tires me! I've so much to do I feel overwhelmed! And is no help ... he wants me to either stay here or move into his house which I hate. It's smaller than an apt almost, he's set in his ways and I know it would never feel like my home. If I start to waver, please just remind me how irritated I get with myself over my flower beds that I used to keep so nice and now can hardly weed without toppling over. Or better yet, remind me of the new furniture I'll be able to afford *fingers crossed*. The thought of moving terrifies me but I need to simplify my life. Oh, one great thing happened. A sportscard buyer from Montreal came in for one day. He'd been here a few years ago and I'd taken a bunch of ex's old cards over. I was ready to settle for $100 that day but made me shut up and I walked away with $350. Anyway I had another box and got me $500 for them! Happy day Now a little reading and then bed ... I've been borrowing audiobooks from the library and enjoying them. Funny thing but I can't just sit and watch tv ... I always stitched, knitted or something and could still follow whatever show was on. I thought with the AB books, I'd obviously be able to do something with my hands. But I can't! I have to close my eyes and I guess imagine the story. Weird huh? hugs, Cait
