Guest guest
I am seeing Dr Goldstein in a few weeks so I want to be prepared on the various options available. As far as guided or non guided injections are they both done for nerve blocks and trigger point injections? which is better to get? thanks Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight? Guest guest
C, Guided is done with a C-arm, a type of ex-ray that lets the doc see the needle and the tissue from the inside. This is done for nerve blocks some times. It is not used for most trigger points because they are found digitally.. that is to say they al felt with the finger and the worst spot is found. The the injectinos goes right into that painful spot. The C-arm does not see pain so letting the figers do the walking is the best way to find the triggers.
