LEARNING PATHS

The Westlake Academy, LEARNING PATHS program is now accepting registrations for the 2011 Summer Program.

This is not a Summer Camp where your child learns new arts and crafts......

'Learning Paths' is Four weeks of .....

ð Intensive Applied Behavior Analysis & Modification

ð Verbal Behavior Services

ð Academic Remediation & Intervention

ð Adaptive PE Classes

.....Specially designed for children on the Autism - Asperger's spectrum , ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities and/or Developmental Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive, Visual & Auditory Processing Disorders.

Each child receives a Comprehensive and Individualized Program with identified goals and objectives for acquisition of targeted skills - Individually selected by our ESE Specialist & Behavior Specialist during your private planning sessions.

ð You can choose one week, all four weeks or a combination of weeks that works out best for your Summer Plans.

Who comes to Smart Camp? ...

Elementary School Students who need Review, Remediation or Enrichment of specific subject areas

Grades K and 1 - Reinforcement of math and language arts skills

Grades 2 and 3 - Review reading, comprehension, and vocabulary, along with accuracy and understanding of all Math concepts

Grades 4, and 5- The focus at these grade levels is to improve and enhance Math and Language Arts skills through reading, writing and daily Math problems.

Middle School Students Who need Review, Remediation or Enrichment of specific subject areas

Grades 6,7, and 8

o Help for those students who are still having difficulty in a specific subject area

o Reading Comprehension and Writing Skills
