Guest guest
Hello: My husband is considering accepting a transfer his employer wants him to make to Port St. Lucie. We currently live in California with our HFA 3 year year old amazing little girl. We get 10 hours of ABA a week from our regional center, and 25 hours of ABA a week from the school district, in addition to two hours of speech from the school district. We supplement with OT and Social Skills classes using insurance (benefits will be running out soon). Our concern is whether or not services are easy to locate in/around Port St. Lucie, and whether or not the school districts there are understanding and generous with services, or if we would have to fight tooth-and-nail for even a minimum amount of help. Any advice on school districts, ABA providers, well - anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kathleen
