I see several similarities with my own case, first of which feeling like I was squatted over a blowtorch. The creams and suppositories I was prescribed for infections made it worse. And it took months of a steroid cream and E to fix the problem. I looked like a piece of raw hamburger meat. Another thing, it IS hard to get a dr. to REALLY look at you. They do seem to just want to glance at you. Who is Dr. Marvel by the way? He sounds like a magician. Just kidding! " grin. " After reading the posts on the yeast problems. I don't know that I've heard of the treatment you mentioned. Think it started with a v. I found relief from chronic yeast infections with boric acid. Is an excellent treatment for resistent yeast. I had read about it so I got a BIG bottle at the store with a picture of a roach on it. I kept thinking, I'm supposed to use this? With a big bug on it? But I went ahead and tried it-please rememember it is not to be swallowed, since it is a poison. It is safe to use vaginally. Anyway the boric acid didn't work well to my disappointment so I tried other remedies. After some time I went to a different dr. and she called in a prescription for boric acid capsules. Ho hum. So what. But to my amazement, they worked. I did some research and learned the bug killer is an inferior grade of boric acid and you need to use the medicinal grade. I ordered it from an on-line drug store. I also found pao'darco capsules to be helpful too.they have strong anti-fungal and anti-viral properties, from what I've read. I insert them vaginally. nne said she uses Yeast Arrest with good results. They are boric acid combined with calendula and oregon grape root. I think I may order that since I still have mild bacterial infections and using boric acid alone for awhile can be irritating. It can be used for bacterial infections too.
