Virastop and Fever

Hi all,

We have been giving Virastop and are at about 2 @ 3x's a day.

My son has a fever but is not getting the sweats at all. Seems odd. As if

the fever flairs up but then that is it. I was wondering since he is

feverish and not eating, should I continue with this dosage, my tendency is

to back off, he is weak, not eating, rings under the eyes, and just not

himself. Which I think is good. Because he NEVER gets sick! So I was just

wondering, should I back off or just continue this dosage.

For how long?

Anyone actually give more then this dosage. I don't want to give too much!

But I do want to kick butt on any virus's hanging around.

How much does your son weigh? Are you giving him the Virastop on an empty

stomach? I agree that this seems like a positive development and will do some

digging to see if I can find anything. Am about to try this for my son again.

Tried this years ago and did not see a thing but encouraged to try again.

Hi

I have just started virastop a few weeks back, prior to this have done approx 1 year of OLE & transfer Factors and on and off GSE and have done 3 months of LDM-100 (getting up to 20 drops 3 times a day). and i have also been using Isoprinosine for past 6 months as per Dr Cheneys protocol. My son is 6.5yrs old (weighs approx 40 lbs) bloods confirmed HSV1 & HHV6.

Since starting virastop his mouth came out with 3 cold sore in first week around his mouth, he was a bit irritable for approx an hour after dosing but fine afterwards.

It might be worth looking into isoprinosine (also called immunovir) as my son was also never ill, i then realised he was stuck in TH2 and isoprinosine helps with this as it is an immune modulator aswell as an anti viral.

Hope that helps.

My son was on Immunovir for a couple of years before I found out that there is

gluten in the tablets. Maybe all Immunovir is not made from gluten, I was

ordering it from Canada. Switched to inosine capsules which are much cheaper

and basically the same compound. But if he did not have such severe allergies

to gluten would have kept him on Immunovir.

Are you using the Virastopx2 strength? This is new since the last time I tried

it for my son.

Yes thank you for the info. We are just about to try virastop. Do you or anyone know if virastop can create a detox reaction / yeast or bacterial flare up? We've had so many supplements that help with detox and then the detoxing metals kick up yeast esp. Many thanks for any input! He is 8YO, I did lessen the dosage. Seems the worst has passed but because

of him not eating, I just had to let up on dosage. I did notice that all his

behaviors subsided but not he is back to usual. But I always know when he is

sick, he just sleeps and lays in bed. Which is so rare. I am going to try to

up the dose again. I really think all these viruses are rattling around in

him and are just not getting out. It just makes no sense that he never gets

sick, ever. I am hoping to see more come out as I up the dose.

Can anyone shed any more light on how high a dose to go and for how long?

But yes - on some stinky farts last night!

And he does seem to have more facial bumps, (we did see a skin doc on these,

they are warts, but super tiny bumps, last time we ended up trying to give

him facial medicine, but it really seemed to do nothing. Then all of sudden

they just disappeared. Thus my thinking that there is more viral stuff

happening inside that has not reached the surface.

Thank you michelle! This is very helpful - I may hold off for awhile since they are already leaning yeasty at the moment. Have you or anyone else tried colostrum? Or any other ideas for gut/immune/antioxidant support that doesn't detox/tip the pathogen balance? We're doing pretty well at the moment and adding in a few more minerals one at a time but think we could use another immune/gut supporter. Currently, we are doing: probiotics, enzymes, selenium, a,c,d,k,e,lysine, enhansa, and ole...Also, has anyone tried:Bosweillia(sp) for colon/inflammation?Ashwaghanda (thyroid support)? Many thanks for any feedback-- Sent from my Palm Pre

Hi , my son started having giggling sessions when i started virastop, night waking with giggling too, i put in GSE 6 drops 3 times a day and that has been enough to kick it and he is now sleeping again, i have noticed lots of smelly farts though so guessing im addressing bacterial issues too, i also have many supplements in addressing bacteria, yeast & viruses and only put in GSE when i really need to, i let his behaviours tell me when this is.

Hope that helps

I used Transfer Factors for about a year or so, but i love Epicor & probiotic Saccromyces boullardii , which both raises secretory IgA

http://www.wholehealth.com/vitamins-supplements/immune-support-with-epicor

I use the following Epicor as it has no fillers etc, not sure of the one in the above attachment, just added that for reference of what it does.

http://www.healthyorigins.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD & Product_Code=57888

I also love GSE for short sharp shock for yeast & bacteria, i try not to use too much as it slows down phase 2 liver

I also love MCT oil as its great for bacteria (its basically caprylic acid but my son didnt swallow capsules so needed a liquid)

http://www.enzymestuff.com/rtmct.htm

Oh and i love Neuroprotek too, which is a great antioxidant & great anti inflammatory and i have managed to teach my son how to swallow these capsules by using a big spoon of smoothie and putting gel capsule in that, he swallows it all down in one!
