Guest guest
I had a great idea for our non-profit group. We should make it into a witness protection-like program where we can all change our names and move to other places where our family members can't find us. There are so many times I've fantasized about " running away from home " since I finally began to realize that there was something really screwy with my FOO. I had hoped that moving 1000 miles away would help the situation. Well, it helped, but not nearly enough. Damn technology! As bad as I feel, I've never ever wanted to commit suicide. If only I could find a way to disappear so that my FOO couldn't find me, kind of like a Harry Potter cloak. AnnieL
Guest guest
Annie L - It already exists! I found a home for my mother's dog (it had been living in her filty hoarder's nest of an apartment). She has complained about this, of course, but I'm not caving - that dog is living the life of a royal princess in her new home, and there's no way I'd ever try to return her to my Nada. I also have a best friend who's known Nada for years - she was living a couple of states away, but moved to a town just an hour or two from my home city (and Nada's) - we have managed to keep this secret from Nada for several years now. So we refer to both my friend and the dog as being in the " (Nada's name) Protection Program " as we are all sworn to secrecy about their locations. In fact, I haven't even told my husband and son where the dog is - to allow them plausible deniability. Such is the dramatic life of a KO! > > I had a great idea for our non-profit group.
