Guest guest
Hi Sharon,....I read that the Wooly worm has a 80% prediction rate of forecasting the weather and an all black one doesn't sound good. Then there are some who say its just a legend. But....nature has a way of following its course. Unless someone is messing with it.......uh huh! Anyhow, would you believe I have not set foot out of my house in almost a year. Oct was the last time and that was to the Dr's. Its amazing to me how fast a whole year can go by. I kept thinking every weekend it would be the one that I'd get out and go somewhere, but it never happened. There was always someone else, or something else that came up that put my needs on the back burner. Then it became easier to just stay put as getting ready for an outing is so draining. If we don't start a few days a head of time it just isn't going to happen. I've been so ill all year and no energy I don't seem to have the motivation to do much of anything. Pain has a way of zapping all good intentions. Soooooo, I will ask my darlin Skylar, the budding scientist and nature lover to look for a wooly worm in our neck of the woods, and when she reports back to me on what she finds I will let you know what our forecast will be! lol.... :-) I'm glad you are feeling better with the steroids. Be careful about doing too much tho, I've heard with all the energy they give at the time, when you come off of them you can crash hard. Happened to a friend of mine more than once. Not trying to discourage you, but a friendly suggestion only. :-) Hugs and Love, Jackie May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you. Subject: Re: update timeTo: MSersLife Date: Monday, September 13, 2010, 4:01 AM Sharon, It was a grand weekend around here.. I did get to go outside.. I think on both Friday & Saturday.. and NOT worry about the heat.. the sad part of that is.. I'm soon going to be worrying about the BRRRRRRRRRs! Not looking forward to be penned in the house before too long.. Supposed to be a bad November & December from what I hear.. Not much new.. actually not anything new.. Feeling? Hmmm.. tthe Copaxone is working.. balance is still a bit off.. but the Copaxone is working well enough for me to know that I AM going to have to call the orthopedic surgeon, more than likely, concerning my knees.. that fall I had March before last.. just before, most likely the beginning of that flare last year.. The pain in my left knee (with the partial tear of the ACL) is all but gone.. The right knee (that wasn't x-rayed or MRI'd, cause the left was most painful).. is giving me all kinds of fits.. at least the pain there would indicate a Menicus tear, or partial tear.. that one should be easy to fix.. I think.. though I'm not sure that it's all that necessary TO fix.. I just want it to stop hurting.. maybe the Lodine will do that for me.. PCP prescribed it for the hip pain that I get, if I spend the day sitting on the bed, instead of a chair.. and sometimes by evening even setting in the chair.. Arthur I'm sure.. maybe all it will take is this stronger NSAID to stop all this stuff.. PCP was quite interesting last week when I saw him.. maybe the running behind in appointments by almost 2 hours.. maybe the steady flow of firemen and EMT's into the back office after one of his appointments LEFT before being seen and promptly pulled out, on a major highway, in front of a large pick-up truck.. causeing a steady flow of firemen and EMT's in and out of the exam room area of the office.. Or maybe he just figured there was no sense in arguing with me about what I wanted.. LOL.. When I asked for a script for Xanax (for the recent panic attacks).. he said.. OK.. how many??? I'm like.. WHOA!!!.. So I replied.. the last script you wrote for those was January 2009.. it was for 50 pills and I just took the last half of the last one last week.. How many do you think I need?.. LOL.. he wrote the script for 50 again.. Maybe it was a test.. old neurologist would only write for 15 at a time.. max.. (even though I told him that I had to break them in half, cause a quarter milligram was just too much in most cases.. just need to get the panic under control, don't need to completely veg out).. THEN he asked me what I wanted for the pain in my hips??? I told him that I am be pretty sure that it's Arthur.. and that was caused by the way I walk to start with.. and I wasn't asking for a narcotic.. just something for the pain.. he suggested Lodine.. I said that would be okay.. Not sure if he was frazzled or it was all a test...
Guest guest
JackieI am so sorry to hear you don't get to go outside. Do you mean actually outside or away from the house? In the winter I rarely go outside--mainly because of the fear of falling in the snow/ice but also because I can't stand the cold. Last winter there was a period of about 4 months where I didn't get away from the house although I did walk out the door a couple of times. big hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
