Guest guest
Hi Dee, Thanks for suggesting that, but I had tried topical estrogen and although it made a difference to the surrounding area it didn't help with the one spot. I also had a lot of PT, but if I gave the exercises a break for more that 5 days I would have to start from the beginning all over again. I believe the nerve was damaged and kept causing my body to respond in a defensive way. Which would explain why gabapentin has helped. I can't say that I'm 100% there yet but I'm close. Thanks for reading everything Dee and bothering to respond. It helps to know that there are others going through similar things. Thanks! Guest guest
Have you considered getting a trigger point injection at the one spot? I had one bad spot at the entrance to the vagina that I couldn’t get to stop hurting and I got a trigger point injection. In fact I got six of them, all around the perineum area. I found the tender spot and put my finger there, and she put the needle where my finger was and stuck the needle in as I pulled my finger away. It really helped and I am going to get some more of them. nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of Scanlan Sent: Friday, May 16, 2008 5:44 AM To: VulvarDisorders Subject: Re: Scar Tissue.?
