Guest guest
Where do you live? I am asking because I know my doctor does long-term tx for yeast-- for people who have chronic yeast, he does a 6 month course of the appropriate med (there are others besides Diflucan depending on the train of yeast; I'm not too familiar because I haven't had this specific issue). But there are doctors that do it. Here's a link to a Drexel Univ Hospital Bulletin that discussed Dr. Nyirjesy's practice (he is my doctor)-- it only mentions that he treats yeast with an aggressive 6-month course of meds, but it's a place to start: http://www.drexelmed.edu/documents/newspager/june05.pdf You can also look up his name in conjunction with yeast on Google and will find lots of medical articles that may work for you. Good luck!!!
