Guest guest
's reply to today's " Ouch " post reminded me of something i've been meaning to post to the group for some time. When i first got my rx for topical estradiol i knew i wanted it compounded in a base i was sure i could tolerate and one that would be healing in its own right. I talked to Pete Hausemann at Bellevue and asked if he would be willing to use some emu oil i sent him. He laughed and said he'd never done it before, but, sure, why not? So, i had a bottle of Laid in Montana emu oil sent to him and have had all my topical and sublingual hormonal rx's done with it ever since. Recently i've learned that Bellevue will no longer be allowing customers to send their own bases. (Getting too crazy keeping everything straight and on top of supply levels) Fortunately, though, they have added Laid in Montana emu oil to their base offerings! So, if anyone want to go that route, rest assured that the emu oil base they provide is the best. I feel really good that i had a hand in introducing Bellevue to Laid in Montana and that it's now an option for everyone. Hollis
