Guest guest
I know there have been many posts on itching. But has anyone experienced an abdominal rash? I have had a rash that started at the waistline on my left side and now spread to my stomach, back and right side. I am miserable. My GI put me on Adirax (sp??) but that is not working. He thought it might be an allergy and suggested I go to a dematologist before he tries something else. I don't know if this is PSC related or something else. I just wanted to see if anyone has had this experience. Thanks, Patti (PSC/Crohns/UC 95) Be a better Heartthrob. Get better relationship answers from someone who knows.Yahoo! Answers - Check it out. Guest guest
Patti, I have the same kind of rash, it is very small red bumps and is on both sides and also around to my back. First I tried every over the counter cream and none worked. and so far every thing the doctor has done hasn't worked, We can't figure out what it is, it is unlike the other itching, and not as disturbing, but just to deal with another itching is frustrating, maybe someone else here has the answer. Guest guest
Patti, please ask your doctor to prescribe Bactroban 2% Cream 30GM together with Triamcinolone 0.1% Lotion. I just finished a round of these two drugs used in combination for 2 weeks and my rash which covered by back stopped itching and disappeared. Your rash sounds just like what I got rid of. It did not necessarily itch all of the time but it made its presence known. Best of luck, I hope that this information helps. Guest guest
NPR had a story about bed bug bites this morning. The description was similar to yours. It seems there is a nation wide outbreak of the critters and it is growing. I'll take a good ole batch of head lice any day. Good news or Bad news? MizKitGet a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com. Guest guest
I hope to God it is not that! I have seen stories on bed bugs on 20/20 or something and I always check when I go to hotels. I haven't been anywhere since June. I have been experiencing a rash on and off since last summer. My GI Doctor thinks it is more like an allergy to latex or something. He said that you are prone to allergic reactions with PSC. I don't know what to think. cmp12305@... wrote: NPR had a story about bed bug bites this morning. The description was similar to yours.
