What we offer:

Teaching cognitive and interactive life skills techniques in a realistic & natural setting, by building an overall awareness of self, others, and diverse environments.

Life/Independent Living Skills-

· Vocational skills

· Job coaching

· Emergency situations

· Following directions/Reading signs (in community, in busy places, etc.)

· Restaurant etiquette (Tipping, ordering, speaking to wait staff, etc.)

· Basic money scenarios (restaurant/store)/Life Skills Math

· Community tours/Field Trips

· How to access important community info

Relationship Building/Team Building-

· Identifying a friend, acquaintance, stranger

· Appropriate interaction with peers

· Building and maintaining friends

· Compromising

· Understanding feelings of others

· Setting appropriate boundaries

· Conversational skills/Listening

Athletics/Sports-

· Balance

· Endurance

· Strength

· Coordination

· Team building/Communication in team

Sessions:

· June 13th-August 19th Weekly Sessions

What-

This is an Interactive camp that emphasizes the wide range of Life Skills in the community, Social Skills & Athletics!

· $275.00 per 1 week session, all field trips included.

· Early Sign up before June 10th

= $250.00 per week!!

· Prepaid sessions, two weeks or more

= $225.00 per week!!

· %10 off total amount for Siblings!!

Please identify specific skills to be targeted for your child on registration form.

Daily Life Skills Field Trips/Special Activities - Field trips/Special Activities will be related to each life skill lesson that will provide hands on learning while participating in tours and activities in the community. Please see the attached calendar of events for details.

Knowledgeable Staff-

· Trained Behavioral/Social Skills coaches (Experienced in working with children with disabilities.)

· Professional/international athlete and certified personal trainer.

· A 1:5 Ratio dependant on child’s functional level

Target Ages-

Youth ages 8-17 are welcomed!
