Guest guest
I talked to my SIL (RN) - she says they do a lot of them, and seldom in older patients (over 65 - I'm not there yet!). Probably nothing to do with IBD, just lucky I guess. Based on what I've read, your recurring sore could very well be a pilondial abscess. Something to ask next Dr. visit, I guess. Good news is it's seldom life-threatening, but recurrence is not uncommon, even with surgical removal. Oh goody.
