Guest guest
Well that didn't take long. i posted my question re sources of grass-fed organs/glands on sunday and they'll be arriving in the mail tomorrow! i got bison pancreas, thymus, thyroid, liver, kidney, spleen and heart from Northstar Bison. thanks to bianca for the recommendation it turned out to be more expensive than i anticipated and i will continue to look for sources closer to home for future orders, but i'm thrilled to get some of the things that are so hard to come by in my area, such as sweetbreads! Wonder how thymus will taste in my morning shake? apologies to those on both native nutrition and beyondprice who recieve this email in duplicate. Mom always sliced it up and sauteed lightly in lard. Very tender, can cut with a fork. Flavor somewhat like chicken but better. Did you sort of have detoxification symptoms(whatever that is)initially? Dennis
