Correlation between Mono and PSC?

I was curious about a statement made in a posting by new member

" I have been ill since I had glandular fever (mono) at 17, my trigger

for all my health problems I believe. "

I had what was likely mono at age 17, a confirmed case around age 19,

through didn't show signs of PSC until I was age 32 (Dec 1996).

Is there any known correlation between PSC and mono?

I don't know the answer, but I've never had mono.

When Noah was diagnosed his EBV just happened to skyrocket at the same

time and that is what got him a swift trip to liver bx day. I don't

think the EVB (mono) was the trigger per se, but I do know that the

liver doesn't like it if you have PSC or anything else much wrong with

it. I would not wish that on him again.
