Cypress Bay cuts 40 teaching jobs because of district's $171M budget shortfall

Cypress Bay High, known for its large enrollment and high college-placement rate, earned a more unfortunate distinction Tuesday as board members learned the Weston school had cut more teaching positions than any other Broward County public school.
