Probably easier to use, too, when you're not quite up to snuff! I like

those big heavy corn brooms, and some days I just can't hold on to it to

sweep.

And you want some serious sweepin', have a house on the dusty coal-mine

prairie with 11 housecats, 3 dogs, and a fireman husband! :-D

Sounds like you're doing great Akiba :). And I'm glad you're getting along

with your sister-in-law and Robbin is getting to know his family. I'm a

Swiffer fan too but why are the replacement cloths so expensive! I've got

the mop, the extendable duster, and the floor washer. That little bottle is

basically only good for one washing.

Hope the roomie works out. And what nerve Rob has to think he can bring his

latest gf aka roll in the hay to " your " home! Please don't let him ... it's

not healthy for Robbin and especially you!

I'm so glad you're doing so well ... hugs, Cait

update on me:)

That's subject lines seems very self-centered, doesn't it? lol

I am feeling better and better being on the steroids. I was able to go out

to the chickens/ducks this morning for the first time in days. Yesterday

evening I made dinner for everyone. I cooked hamburger steaks, mashed

potatoes and gravy and fried green tomatoes. It tasted pretty good, if I do

say so myself:)

I might go shopping tomorrow, depending on how I feel later this afternoon.

I have three grandkids having birthdays in the next few weeks.   is

turning 8 on 9/21, will be 16 on 9/28 and Kelsey will be 13 on 10/12.

I wish the birthdays were spread out over the year but their parents didn't

plan very well. lol

hugs

Sharon

I've got to look for the Reveal mop but I don't think it's in Canada yet. On my main floor all I have is hardwood and porcelain tiles so that's why I use swiffer stuff and get out of lugging the vacuum cleaner. That's one thing I'm going to hate about an apt ... carpetting :( ... hugs, Cait

check the net - there are coupons God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

I got the cheapest swiffer, I priced it against a regular broom and they were within .50 of each other, and that was just a broom, no mop. I am going to look for that reveal thingy next but I needed to get something anf believe it or not this was the cheapest alternative. Plus I got a hand-broom and dustpan.

Don't know if they sell 'em yet up yonder, but Rubbermaid has a newproduct called the "Reveal" mop - works just like the Swiffer spray mop, butthe cloths are washable/reusable microfiber, and you can fill the spraybottle (also reusable) with anything you like. It's on my next shoppinglist - been sticking with the old string mops because I don't like buyinganything you use once and toss!I do, though, buy the duster thingies and keep them only unto mineelectronics... in WYPractical Blackwork Designs"You get a wonderful view from the point of no return..." http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com http://practicalblackwork.com-----Original Message-----From: MSersLife [mailto:MSersLife ] On BehalfOf xstitcherSent: Saturday, September 18, 2010 10:07 PMTo: MSersLife Subject: Re: update on me:) Sounds like you're doing great Akiba :).
