Guest guest
All, I had a MRCP few days ago and it came back as "No evidence of Sclerosis Cholangitis". Has this happen to anyone else? My doctor said that it was strange it said that. I have a liver biopsy scheduled for tomorrow and ERGP? the one that they scope you looking at the liver and the ducts on Wednesday. So I guess we will know for sure. But could it be that I don't have PSC? Why would the MRCP say that? I always thought MRCP was exteremly reliable. Arman Choose the right car based on your needs. Guest guest
I had an MRCP done first and my hepa said that " something is very wrong " after he reviewed the slides or whatever they look at. I was scheduled for an ERCP 9 days later and they did it. They did find that I had PSC but it was not nearly as bad as they'd thought based on the MRCP. So maybe that is a common experience? Don't know for sure but I'd rather have the ERCP than MRCP. PSC 8/07 PBC 10/07 (probably) 24yo from NE
