Tilted vaginal canal??

So, during my last PT appt, my PT tells me that I have a build up of

muscle on my right side internally (she was so cute about it- " I don't

want to say you're abnormal, but you know, there's that 50%, and then

there's you... " -she's so random!), which, over time, has caused my

vaginal canal to be angled (i'm guessing being pulled to my right

side, she didn't say, but that seems logical from what the said). And

apparently, when I get stressed and the muscles spasm, it pulls that

angle more, and that explains some of my deeper pain! And makes sense

to me, because (sorry, TMI moment) often during sex, it'd feel like I

was being punched in the stomach from the inside, which would make

sense if he was hitting my muscle wall there. Also, tampon usage was

really hit-or-miss: either it'd go in fine and not hurt, or it'd hurt

like crazy and I'd need to try several times to get it to be inside

and stay. But yeah: tilted vaginal canal, NOT tilted uterus. Bizarre!

Has anyone else ever heard of this?? Does anyone else here have it??

Hey Beth, is your pelvic alignment still off? That can definitely cause problems with the muscles. The muscles try to do the work of the ligaments when the pelvis is misaligned.... the right side of my sacrum ends up slipping up and the left side is too tight and most all of my vulvar pain is on the left side....~ChelleBeth tilted vaginal canal, NOT tilted uterus. Beth,

I definitely had this! =) It was so odd - I'd try to use tampons and

they would go in at this crazy angle, pointing off to one side - but if

I tried to put them in straight it was like hitting a brick wall. After

lots of PT it seems to have improved overall...
