Teasing out the email addresses and creating an email list was a bit time consuming.I thank you for your interest in building a future for our children with developmental disabilities. It boggles the mind how many differentforces seem to be working against helping our children as they become adults and need a safe environment where they are included and productive. We defeated the 10% density rule and the 1000 foot rule here in Florida. Now CMS is changing their rules to make it more difficult to securefunding for our kids. The DMS-V is changing its definition of autism, a move that will deny more services. It is now abundantly clear that we must create our children's future with as little government help as possible. Many of you have emailed some very good suggestions on which I will follow up. What is extremely important is to realize that each of us has some skills that willhelp create and run whatever we decide to do. The first skill necessary in to set up a blog where we can communicate with each other. There is no reason to call meetings and make people travel. So, if one of you has the knowledge to create the blog site, please email me back and let's get started. If anyone has any grant searching and writing skills, let's explore what can be done. Do you have any contacts, political or otherwise, to help secure land? Do you or a friend have any business skills? Whatever you think you can offer, please send me an email so I can build our database.Again, thank you. Now let's begin. Clayman
