>>>>>I think my main thing is that it is my 1st surgery of any kind and it has me a little on edge. I am just afraid of the unknown. I am up for the surgery and I know I need it to make the pain stop, but I still have knots of the unknown. CrystalCrystal, I understand better what you mean now! ;) I think we all can relate to your fear, surgery is never fun -- no many how many you have had. If you 'know' this is the route you should go then keep trying to connect with those who've had the surgery and I'm sure that will help ease 'some' of your fears. Since you have never had surgery, I'm gonna give you a little tip. I always tell the anesthesiologist I need some anti-nausea meds in the IV while I'm under. That way, when I come to, I don't have to deal with nausea or vomiting. That is the last thing you need when trying to recover! Take Care,Chelle
