.. I am still working on the conference agenda, but as soon as everything is

confirmed, we will post all the registration and hotel information on our

website that Tim mentioned. I will also post updated information to the online

group. Thanks for your interest in the conference. It will be a terrific

ville Florida, but you can review previous conference agendas at:

As housing for the conference is arranged and registration forms

generated, it will be announced here to let everyone know so we can

make room reservations and submit our registrations in a timely manner.

Hi Tim,

My sister-in-law works at a travel agency and often helps arrange things

like this. When I mentioned the conference to her one thing she said was to

book the flight at least 6 weeks in advance. She also said that she could

assist people with the arrangements. It may be easier to have a designed

travel agency doing this, and working on getting a special room rate, and

possibly special airfares (although that might not be possible since people

will be coming from all over). I know Lena has helped me get airfares that

are cheaper than what I could find online. She's also the sister-in-law who

often goes with me to see the hepatologist, so she's even familiar with PSC.

Hi Marie,

Thank you for your ideas about the 2008 conference. Once

we have the agenda completed and people are ready to book their flights for the

conference, you might mention your sister-in-law again to the group if they

would like to see if she could help them get special airfares. I have

already negotiated a very special room rate at the two hotels that are on the Mayo

campus. I’ll keep everyone up to date as more details get

confirmed. I’m glad that people are already planning to attend the

conference! It’s always a high point of my year….
