Guest guest
quotation from Dr. Shaw's book " Biological Treatments for Autism and PDD " : " Many of the yeast byproducts are acids and release of the acids that are absorbed into the body may cause a condition called metabolic acidosis. An extremely simple therapy used by physicians who treat autism is to supply a mild antidote that neutralizes the excess acids. The most convenient product is a nonprescription drug called AlkaSeltzer Gold™. Do not use any other kind of AlkaSeltzer™. AlkaSeltzer Gold™ is simply a very safe product (sodium and potassium bicarbonate) that helps to neutralize excess acids of any kind. The dose for children is on the label. Do not exceed the number of recommended doses. " One mother wrote, " It worked so well for both of my children that the die-off was an uneventful experience, even though they both had very high levels of yeast. " The restoring of acid/alkaline balance also relieves many allergies
Guest guest
Channa, thank you so much for posting this. It is definitely worth a try. So the acetone breath my son had was definitely from the acid released from yeast die off. That is why it was temporarily relieved by baking powder. is > > quotation from Dr. Shaw's book " Biological Treatments for Autism and PDD " : " Many of the yeast byproducts are acids and release of the acids that are absorbed into the body may cause a condition called metabolic acidosis. Guest guest
I have never put too much faith im any test..even thou they are useful...maybe one part of the body is alkaline doesnt mean the body is alkaline all over? and vice versa? but i would have to go into my anatomy book and research that one more.. I would personally go by symptoms of acidosis...acetone breath...extreme thirst can also be a sign....sighing a lot...the body trying to alkalanize itself.....diabetics get this with hyperglycemia To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex > Sent: Friday, December 9, 2011 11:09 AMSubject: Re: Re: acid/alkaline balance You can buy Alkaline test strips from Swanson's for just a couple of bucks. -Tammy To: mb12valtrex Sent: Thursday, December 8, 2011 10:22 PMSubject: Re: acid/alkaline balance Channa, thank you so much for posting this.
