Guest guest
I don't expect you all to be as excited as I am over this, okay? But I had to tell someone!!! roflI just got an email giving me a link to the grave info and (a photo of the gravestone!) of my third great grandfather, Melchior Ruckel (Rockel). He is buried in Hidlay Cemetary in Columbia Co, PA. He was born in 1761 and died in 1826. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Hi Sharon,.......I think this is really exciting. My Uncle has been doing genealogy on my moms side for years and I have a friend who is doing mine on my dads side too. My mothers grandmother was full blooded ee, and if I could get proof of that I would be eligible for benefits I've been told. I think it goes down to 1/16th. Problem is no one knew her name but to call her MeeMaw. I've been thinking of getting involved with searching too, and still may in the future. I'll see what the others have so far. So cool! :-) Hugs and Love, Jackie May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you. Guest guest
I AM Excited for you... I probably should think about putting more in my tree.. specially since I found my mother's 2nd diary (wish I could find the first).. cause she kept track of EVERYTHING.. who was born, when where how.. and who died, got married, moved.. whatever.. she kept track.. Her OLD diary really really had some terrific info in it.. I think my dad is squirreling that away though.. hopefully he doesn't lose his mind and throw it out..
