Guest guest
Yes. I usually crash the day after steroids. Sorry you're gong though it. Amy I'm not doing so good. I felt so darn good the first few days of taking the oral steroids and now I'm feeling crappy. I am moving like I'm walking through jello. I went out to take care of the chickens/ducks this morning but that was a mistake on my part. I am so slow. When I'm sitting down I feel better but when I stand up and walk it's such a terrible chore for me. I suppose this is an after effect of the steroids. Guest guest
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{gentle hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} I've heard others say that while coming off the steroids its hard on them. All that activity you did while you were feeling so good on them, you might have overdone. A couple days of taking it easy hopefully will help you feel better. The main thing is if it took care of the ON? Hugs and Love, Jackie May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you. Guest guest
We need to sit down and have a heart wrenching, drench the shirt cry together.. must be something in the water!!!! I've been listing all my non-accomplishments in life lately... Woke up this morning.. and had feeling in my right hand!!! (It's not all gone yet.. still have more than usual).. which should be a GOOD thing.. It's not.. well it doesn't feel like it is anyway... Reached out with that "feeling" right hand and started to rub 's chest (cause I could actually FEEL IT.. and yes.. more than you wanted to know).. but in his sleep, he grabbed my hand and made it lay still.. so he could continue to sleep those last 10 minutes before the alarm went off.. It just seems to suck to be us these past few weeks... doesn't it? HUGS |)onna, who right there with you on the emotional rollercoaster.. Thanks Akiba. Your empathetic reply made me cry. Guest guest
I did so well for years on Avonex, and even better on Copaxone, and then it turned out that I was allergic to the mannitol (a small-cell signalling sugar) that was in the INactive ingredients. Had to give it up. I hope that something can be done for you and forSharon, Kathleen.Love,nTo: MSersLife Sent: Mon, September 20, 2010 12:46:03 PMSubject: Re: not doing so good I feel like that all the time Sharon. Guest guest
That's not a whole long time.. but I'm betting long enough to get the "not so good" feelings when complete.. I know that when I came home from the hospital.. well heck.. back last May.. they did the first IV infusion on Friday night.. by Saturday morning the numbness had all but gone.. and I started to feel like I could run a marathon (IF my legs would cooperate)... and I continued to feel better and better for the three days of the infusion.. even felt good for the two weeks tapering on Prednisone.. but it was after that I felt like crap.. Don't think it was actually a "reaction" to the meds, so much as the going "back to normal" from feeling pretty darned good while on the steroids.. and I do have to admit.. back to "normal" sucks... reminds us once again of what we've lost.. Right now, whatever is going on.. (and I KNOW it's going to pass) with me being able to actually feel the fingers and most of my right hand right now.. (woke up that way yesterday morning.. and it's still going today.)... it's going to be the pits when it goes back to "normal" when whatever it is... goes away.. HUGS |)onna Six days.
