I was wondering if there is a way for a family with a child with autism to receive behavior therapy for free in Miami. I wasn't sure if any of the governmental programs pay for it. I think in Broward, CMS used to or still is paying, but I don't know about Miami.

Thanks

Hi,

that depends on your coverage and co-payment...not sure with CMS tho in

Broward....i was the Executive Director at a school who specializes in autism

and behavioral challenges....we first had to become an insurance provider,

enroll our therapists, and then per family see what their coverage was per

insurance carrier (again, not sure with CMS)....you should be able to contact

UMCARD or maybe SNAP for more assistance....hope this helps
